Is a Cheap Website Really More Affordable?

A website quote should be evaluated beyond its initial price: maintenance, security, speed, usability and long-term flexibility all affect its true cost.

The starting price is not the total cost

Two website quotes may include the same number of pages yet cover very different work. Original design, mobile usability, content management, content migration, technical SEO and after-launch support all affect the scope.

Costs that appear later

Hosting fees, paid plugins, security updates or charges for small changes can significantly increase the overall cost if they were not explained at the outset. Ask every supplier what is and is not included.

How should you assess quality?

A website should be judged on more than appearance. Consider speed, mobile accessibility, clear paths to contact, secure administration and how easy it will be to update content. Whenever possible, assess real client projects rather than promises alone.
